love the linco gears
Very cool but a local guy drives his mustang on the street every once in a while (saw him crusing tonight) and traps 173, ran I think best time low 8's. Its his first year in his new car, last year he had a mustang convertible. Kinda funny seeing a car just crusing around with a chute one the back.
are linco a clutchless tranny?
Damn that thing moves!
i love you and hate you at the same time for posting this video. I've been searching recently for a 65-67 fairlane of galaxie 500 2dr hardtop to make into my drag car.
God i want to get this project going.
Yes and no, the Lecno transmission essentially once in motion works alot like a manual valve body in an auto. There is a clutch to get the car moving but from there it is just slammin gears no clutch involved. However if you are just cruising you are "supposed" to use the clutch to save wear on the gears in the transmission. Alot like in any other vehicle except the Lenco's are built to run like this for years. Lenco built the powerglide in my boat and I love it.
Damnit people! It's spelled LENCO...
Love me some Lenco! i cant wait to have a street car with that trans setup
I want to know more about that first gen rx7 in the other lane.
X3, fuckin badass stuff right there..
