Reminds me of this pic I took at a movie theatre. Didn't take it cuz it was a clean 5.0, but because the parking job was one of the worst I've seen there by far:

A lot of a sports cars do that to keep people from parking next to them... however, I've heard too many times where non-enthusiasts become angered by it and decide to give your car a new look (by scratching pin stripes down it with a key).

So I tend to park normally further out.

I can understand not wanting dings, I don't want them either but that's why I park a looong ways away from the enterance so noone will park by me anyway. For me, it's just common courtesy to not take up 2 spaces when you can easily fit in one.

Anytime I park my nice car far out in the lot, there is always some jack ass parked next to me.

What really pisses me off is when people pull too far forward in one spot. Had it happen to me many times, my front bumper has been pushed down and scraped up because of it! THAT is when pinstripes start happening!

2 cars, five spots, because "they couldnt see the lines".

when someone doesnt park in the lines, I go out of my way to piss them off.

we spot each other to within a couple of inches of both sides of the car, thus blocking them off from it.

the safest way to park your car is in the lines, equal distance.
