    Military Vet, current GC
wants: 69 Chevelle SS (original, non of that Malibu stuff)
had: 90 VG30De Z32 black on black leather T-Topless (thats the way to roll)
has: FailWD... no even worth mentioning here.

i don't know what to say really, Mattzoom brought up the site, i've heard of it before but didn't register cause i can't haz RealWD awesomeness. albeit, FailWD isn't that bad, it just FAILZ...

well, in either case, i am the Proud driver of a 2001 Suzuki Esteem...

i'll wait until you're doing lol/rofl'ing to continue...

GL Sedan chassis code SY418, engine code: J18A = 1.8L (1790cc) open deck aluminum block w/cast sleeves chain driven non-interference DOHC with bucket syle lifters, which is supposed to make 126WHP stock (debateable)... all this in a power nothing go-cart chassis that weighs 2200lbs... with room for 4... and a box of donuts...

    it's rice, with a spun bearing it's Steamed Rice:thumbsup:.

i've in fact made it even more rice:
    removed a wiper,
    2 different size/style/make of rims,
custom made a functional ram air scoop (only ricer import cars have these)
    tinted the tails,
    lowered it,
    cleared the front corner lenses,
shortened the shifter stick DSM style,
    remote mounted the battery,
did a motor swap in 9 hours on my own cause i went dry on a 130mph rally jump on the 15N on my way to Vegas, which caused me to spin a bearing,
had to remove my CAT to pass smog,
running straight pipes on the stock log style manifold which makes it sound like Steamed rice,
found out my gears are 35-65-95-130-155,
removed the interior cause it was JDM wieght reduction, then replaced it all cause it was stupid,
added a FPR cause my stock one broke,
added an OCC cause Sears was having a sale,
in process of porting my intake manifold with a bastard file and coronas, constantly going through tires cause i have soo much FailWD HP that i constantly burn out,
usually let off by the cops cause they think it's a domestic,
usually get rev'd on by imports and some domestics so i rev'd back and accidentally let go of the clutch which results in me burning tires and the other person quietly driving next to me as i look them in the eyes and wonder WTF you started?
constantly working on the car in the street cause my roommated lancer that i helped turbo is in the garage cause he's getting deployed,
always having to check my tires,
keeping the music low because i don't want to crack the window even more,
    filled my motor mounts...

    wait...

a site called "ricekiller.com" doesn't allow the bashing of Rice?

am i the only one who sees something wrong with that?

but if i am wrong, i'd like to talk with the person who owns this site and inquire as to why this sites name is such...

    tell me you're being sarcastic.

We don't consider all imports rice FYI. Rice is somthing done to the car or the mentality of the owner. Bashing rice isn't done here because this is a "rice-free" zone so to speak. There is rice everywhere, and this is one place to get away from it.

Read the RKC Site Mission in the Newbie Section sticky. It will clear things up.

    Welcome.

    thanks for the welcome:thumbsup:

well, due to technicalities, i am what this site would consider rice:

i've engaged in street racing, i've done burnouts, i've gone 2X the legal speed limit on the freeway, easily some of the most rice/pro-rice like things anyone can do.

along with rice like things such as:

i've zipped tied my brake lines cause it's supposed to help with keeping your brake lines from expanding too much during hard braking, and because i can't afford custom made braided SS brake lines yet,
i have 1/2 of my zeitronix installed cause i can't afford to get a new PCM for the WB on top of the fact i don't have a SAFC and bigger injectors,
i've installed new CV boots with a funnel, blow dryer, and coronas,
i used to have a two-tone paint job,
my "city" lights are blue (a rice thing),
i've filled my motor mounts with Window Weld to stiffen them up cause i couldn't find another Esteem to pull parts from beings that my motor mounts are torn,
i installed sleeves and coilovers on stock struts even though i don't have the koni inserts yet,
i installed truck end link bushings on my sway bars...

my car is a rice bomb. my car is so rice i'm planning on getting a paint job that ressembles grains of rice.

and i love it, cause no one has the ballz/care to drive it. no one else thinks my car is worth more then the heat it'll give off when it's set ablaze...

don't be so hard on yourself.

Im driving a rattle canned car with no interior and 2 different color spark plug wires. It has a huge hole in the side of it. a lot of people may look at and think "what a fucking piece of shit!"

But it will drag any car in my high school, and that's all that matters

that's the thing, your car has Tq/HP. i have a Sedan that doesn't even know what an aftermarket is, and i've had a turbo for damn near 1 1/2yrs, just sitting in the garage cause it's hard as hell to find parts for a car that was never made in america. every 3rd gen Esteem like mine had a 1 yr run here, all imported straight from the motherland.

best part is: USDM OEM parts that are supposed to fit, dont. all my parts have to be OEM "JDM", so all that cool kid shit about over nighting parts from Japan is retarded.

on being a ricer? i think i am fully qualified due to my own admittance.

    FWD burnouts FTMFW!

and what part of Suzuki Esteem didn't you get? have you ever seen one in person, i doubt it, i highly doubt you've seen one before.

    how about:

    Suzuki Baleno
    Maruti Baleno
    Suzuki Cultus Crescent
    Chevrolet Esteem

    here's a wiki for you:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Esteem

this car embodies the term "import".

now, you have a 1st gen DSM, not exactly an Import there captain. let me guess, you started with a 7bolt, blew it with crank walk, then switch to a 6 bolt, and managed to crank walk that one too?:lmao:

get your shit straight, DSM's are not imports.

i got mad love for DSM's, though i hate working on them, but $400 on a GSX/TSI is enough to smash on 90% of cars on the road.

IMPORT does not equal rice. Im actually kind of confused by your posts seems like part of the time your bashing yourself other parts talking yourself up.
