    know this is going to sound like im tell story after story........ But i knew my car wasn’t running right so I went to talk to my mechanic friend and he took a look and listen to my car and we found out im only running on 7 cylinders So this weekend im going to try to work on it I hope it’s just something minor any ideas why my car might be down a cylinder........:(:(:(

    I cant wait till i get it running like it use to lol :cool:

    check your compression in all cylinders, make sure you're getting spark and fuel to all cylinders as well.. I hope it's not internal.. that'd suck!

    Not bosch plugs i hope?

    ^ I've run bosch plugs for over 4 years with never a problem just sayin and yes their plat. 4's.

    Check for spark. If none check plug, if ok check wire. Still good check compression. Most likely just a plug or wire.

    Pull the valve cover and check your valvetrain. Idle the engine and make sure your cam is still good. Another words make sure all of your springs are compressing.

    Edit: No oil wont go everywhere if it is just idling without the valve cover. Dont give it gas or oil WILL go everywhere lol

    SECONDS AWAY FROM WOT!
    I was down a cylinder twice before and there was a noticeable hesitation under throttle. Sumtimes I get the same symptom if any of my wires contact my manifolds and arch.

    I changed the plugs and wires and insulated the wires to prevent contact with the manifolds. She runs like a champ now. Like said earlier, I would check the plugs and wires first. Always check on the cheap fix first, and check for codes.

    god I used to hate when my headers would burn the wire boots. it was the most annoying thing in the world! it'd run strong and than like dog shit when the wires burned.. :lol:
