did a compression check and both where 115 so I am going to call it good and rip the hell out of it. Also I am not sure how good the tester is it has to be 20 years old.

That's low, you should be about 135 min. Id find another tester to verify first.

No way the only way you are going to hit 135 is if you have a aftermarket head. I think they came stock at 125 anything under 110 I would rebuild the top end.

135 is stock on a 800. The 600's should be now lower than 120. Too low I'd start worrying about the case bearings. Very easy to do new rings and may save u headache in the future. Worth some more research either way.

135 is a bit high to be the "minimum". As long as there isn't more then a 9-10% difference between cylinders I'd rock it as is.

Just tested it and a lot better 135 and 138 in the other give or take a pound.

Tomorrow the handle bar risers, and hand guards will be here.

Awesome, good to hear. Sounds stout! Just picked up some parts to finish up the motor. Wed it should be good to go
