I got an offer from a person that has a Vette, he is goin to take out the 350 and put a more powerfull V8 in it, he over heard me that I needed an engine for my truck, so he offered me his Vette engine to put in my '93 Silverado, he will have it put in, and they will wire it to work in my truck. The down side to it is, I've seen how much the parts for the motor would be, a water pump would be 73 dollars plus core, and to make it worse, a cap and rotor assembly would cost me close to 200 dollars.

I'll get a powerful engine like I've wanted, but the down side is the up keep.............

    What ya'll think?????

    Somewhere I probably shouldn't be.
Tell him you'll put the engine in, take it home sell it get the money for it, then buy all the parts you need to make your current engine fast....

I think he told me that its a '90, but he said it might work in my truck, the dude offered me a decent price, If I mention it I might get my head chopped off. He told me that he'd let me try it before I buy it in his old Vette to see how it'd run.............but I don't know. It'll handle different in a 1/2 ton truck

I could buy it off of him but I don't have the storage space to keep it until I get my Trans Am for my Knight Rider conversion, I know up keep is gonna be a pain.

UGH, why does this have to happen at such a bad time!!!!!??????

Do it! And if you don't want it I could use the powerplant for my 86 Bird.

I have a 89 GTA and a 86 Firebird, neither of which is going to become a KITT. I enjoyed the show for the fun of it, but I wouldn't be caught dead in a KITT Clone.:lmao:
