They are T2 Rods. They do make forge rods for this engine and theres a few vendors.

Ive gathered some stuff since my last post.



I bought a lone wolf performance port and polish exhaust manifold and a TBI roller camshaft




A523 Transmission from a Plymouth Sundance with about 107k miles.

Actually, you're wrong. The 4G63 engine and tranny were designed & assembled in Japan by Japanese workers and imported.
Everything else was assembled in Illinois.

The 420a motor was all American however :lol:

OLd thread but QFT! 4g63 was designed in Japan, the chassis were made here. The 4g63 started life in the Evo's.
