one girl is supposedly insain so she gets sent to an "insain assylum" but turns out its not that and really its something completely different and she has to fight for her life against different thing and try to escape. i could bassically tell exactly how this movie is going to play out but i think ill just hold off and watch it

I knew it had to be something wierd.. So its not really real.. Because all those images Im like wtf it makes no sense..

About little girl who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution and while there she starts to imagine alternative reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man. Story is set in 1950's.

Hellboy with tits? Sounds like a very bad case of 'image first, story later'. It'll need some skilled storytelling to be anything other than a pale imitation of one of Quinten T's more fevered wank fantasies. This is the problem with Alan Moore, ..., everyone thinks they can do it. Still, I may well be wrong, ..., lets hope so. Bagsies first leer at the Nurse Ratchett character

Maybe But did you like The Watchman movie? But yea if its all visuals then it might not be that great a movie. Then again I would watch it just for the scenes I saw in the trailer. Money shots

Yeah, I enjoyed The Watchman film, but then its a novel story, decent characterisation, well told in an almost slavish shot-for-frame remake of the book. It does lack the 'depth' of the book tho, as it cut out all the other book-ish formats that were all about story-telling. This is a pity, if not perhaps inevitable, ..., I'd hoped that they might've been able to 'translate' those from 'paper' to 'film' by using different visual forms, (soaps, docs, ads, cctv, 50s, 60s 70s etc) & varied film stock but it'd've probably've been too long. As for Sucker Punch we'll have to wait and see, ..., but by Snyder's own account it was 'image first, story later' which I doubt is really how great stuff comes to be, ..., f'instance the freedom of the Dr Who gimmick doesn't mean that all the stories are good, it works best when the stories seek to explore what the gimmick would actually mean emotionally, ..., but I sense I've started to argue against my own position, thus exploiting my own gimmick thus its time to, ... .
