That's not bad for a svt, I've run a few that just had a pully and that's it last year. I just ended up walking by them at 90 once I got into 6th.. What else have you done?

We'll have to run em soon. Working to get my truck dialed in. New (fixed) exhaust housing is here and I'm planning on pulling the turbo tonight. Might show up at university since it's a 3 day holiday weekend for most.

My sig should say somewhere close to 700hp/1400# (with a goal of 675 in the power band) in the coming weeks. I do plan to get to hi-tech and spin the rollers for 2-3 hours VERY SOON.

so let me do some internet racing math. I'm rather close with the oil burners.

your at 4800# with driver? 440 wheel hp is about 110 in the 1/4. since I'm sure on the dig it's tractionless your 60 foots are around 2.2-2.4? your setup is around high 12's from a dig but you have no issues running with low 12 vehicles on the street (as seen in the video)?

I've pondered an auto swap and twin turbos. Jut not cost effective. 700 hp is plenty I suppose for my 6 speed truck.

Now that I'm truck paymentless, in a year a reg cab 2500 dedicated toy is a possibility. We'll see on that front. a bigger house is more likey

So you running a rather sticky tire? Should of assumed but I try not to. my experience the stock tired svt's and srt's can't hook worth a damn, even if they manage a no spin, they just are not leaving hard enough.

thanks to Jason for inviting me over to his place and buying me dinner.

It was a great learning experience working on that truck. While there are similarities between cars and trucks, the differences were interesting. It was a lot of fun learning and working.

I'm going to give fair warning to the 'Vette guys. This Dodge truck may surprise you guys a bit. It definitely surprised me.

Yeah, it's a little snappier now. Forgot one freaking oil like on the bypass. it was lose (hand tight). I figure there's about 2 quarts of oil under the truck now based on the dip stick level... rust preventative I suppose right? Going to get some sleep and buy a few cans of degreaser tomorrow and hit up the self service wash.

Kaiyin, not a problem! don't mind hte extra hands here and there.. Despite the shitting bolts and nuts that needed to be cut off on the damn turbo, it was fun.

Lets see. $10 for 6 nuts from Cummins. corners getting worn. The the 13mm on the exhuast housing. one of them was stuck. a little bit from the wheel grinder, and a little from the hack saw..

then we managed to lose a head gasket.. these are MLS kinda gaskets, so I managed to make it work. We found the missing gasket once we were cleaning up and putting the last piese back to gether.. So I do have a small exhaust leak too. I'm sure that's not helping spool.

I did hook up the boost to the actuator. Dropp boost from 50 to 45 in 5th gear.. Too many cops out to see where boost sits in 6th.. If it's over 45, I'll need o pull the turbo again to adjust the gate. If I pull the turbo, I'm just going to put on that other spring loaded actuator. We'll see.

It's running good. Does get lose in 4th gear a little, but it's still slow to build boost. could just be the header leak tho.

Anywho. I'm tired.
