different days different temps and humidity, so not to sound like a ass, but what was proven? besides who really gets all bent outta shape over numbers on a dyno? it's all about what happens at the track or the mexican highways that decides who's car is faster.

Although the temps were different. They were NOT that much different. See results at the end of the vid. We typically see a 15-20% difference between the two.

And "not to sound like an ass" A LOT more people's egos go off of Dyno numbers than the track or mexico. A lot of people get upsete when they feel the dyno # on their car was low. The truth is it is just a way to measure performance. The track or street is def what counts when it all comes down to it. However, a lot of people want to know why their numbers were low on the Mustang Dyno.

Asking what was proven makes me wonder how much you are REALLY tuned into the performance arena. Although, how the cars perform on the street or track is what matters...using a dyno to meaure performance enhancment and to make additional adjustments is the what people do today.

50 yrs ago we may have heard a comment like a above.....The days of listening to carberator and twicking things at that point are over ...cute comment though. Or, dynos might not come into play if someones car is slow....2 Valves FTW!

what i'd rather see is the data logs from each. how the engine parameters react to the loaded vs non loaded dyno.

nice comparison though.

Us diesel guys care, cause we can make a lot of power and still be slow as hell at the track. Case in point - see photo below...

I don't know about that. I have seen some pretty nasty diesels on the road and at the track! I have also seen your truck in person!

Your truck would surprise the best of them for sure.

i was being serious when i said i wasn't trying to be a ass. and yes i am very old school by heart and that's probably why i would wonder about why it mattered that much. and as far as the under your breath 2v comment yes i know my 455rwhp car is slow but i have hurt a lot of feelings when my slow car leaves their 5+ hp car bus lengths behind me when manny tuned my car i was disappointed at the peak hp numbers. not because i wanted more but just because kenne bell advertises way more that what i made.

on a good note...... 520 ftlbs at 2800 rpms gets the job done nicely

*EDIT oops i guess i just used dyno numbers to measure my
E- penis didn't I lol. oh well like i have always said you cant put down 5k rwhp but if you cant put it to the ground then it's a worthless pos lol

lol....I wasn't really bagging on your car broham. I thought you might come back with the dyno numbers if I did that. Call it a setup!

All kidding aside. Your 2V puts down strong numbers! Would make a lot of 4V owners butt hurt for sure!

Yeah, I have had to have several KB blowers rebuilt.

The mustang dyno is the most accurate. Has a lot more calculations and factors that come into play. The egos don't like it as much though!

I think the Dyno Jet is inflated and not near as accurate for street and track tune and performance.

KB's are known for the rebuild. We have never had trouble with a Whipple blower. I like the way the KB sounds though....
