haha. yes, TREX cam and i'll be runnin either a 150-175 shot on the street. if i need it, which i highly doubt i will, i'll have jets for a 200 shot. ...but anyways, kickin a mustangs ass isnt hard at all. now cobras are kinda tricky.they're boosted. thats the only thing they have goin for them.

They don't look like catfish.... Lol only reason I want a Cobra over Fbody. To me the looks are worth not having an LS1. But Chris whens middletown happeneing again?

Ill admit defeat as Aj did beat me by .003

I am down for a tristate match , I just want some better tires. I think my hoosiers arent going to cut it.

Edit: Btw 4 Door Supra I saw you the other morning on Cincy Dayton Turning onto Union Center around 7:30ish in the morning. Atleast it was a black boosted IS, yours is the only one I know of lol.

well tracey still has my car. we finally figured out the reason for my car to have a studder. i broke yet another trans mount. so when i shift, it hit so hard i guess that the knock sensor picked that up and killed my car. but its gettin that fixed and my cam plus retune and a few other goodies

this is a video of JOHNNY LIGHTNING going 8.49. there are PLENTY of 10 second Lightnings on the streets...so, id rather look like a girl runnin 10's in my lightning than looking like an idiot that spent WAY too much on an srt10 ram.

Way to much? You can get one for under $25k with low miles. Lightenings are nice trucks don't get me wrong. But why buy one when you can spend a little more money have twice the interior space and more performance under your belt? I'm sure there are SRT-10s out there that runs 10's as well. I mean they do have Viper V10s which means they have the same potential. And a Viper will wax a Mustang any day.. But I'd rather have a Vette over Vipers because LSx FTW!

no where near the same potential. yes you could spend more and get a little more interior, but youre going to sacrifice performance. more interior means more weight. yahoo search "9 second srt10 ram," you wont find anything. then search for "worlds fastest srt10 ram" you'll find one 10.73 @ 125mph. the lightning is hands down a better performer. just because the ram has a bigger motor, and more horsepower, doesnt make it faster.

as far as a viper waxing a mustang... well thats not always the case. especially at the track. i saw not but a month ago an orange and black viper going 13.2's ALL NIGHT LONG. i would have loved to get a heads up race with him. i would have owned him. a friend of mine has the first year viper, 94 i think. he and i are going out to play sometime in the next few weeks. hes already said the only way he will beat me is in a roll on race. vipers DONT HOOK. it takes a really skilled driver to get a viper to run what the manufacturer claims. even then, they still arent that impressive for the $. ill race one ANY day without fear.

not to mention, the cobra can be had for well under 20K$...for 5k more, slap a new blower on it and have over 600 wheel horsepower and run deep in the 10s. try getting those numbers on that budget from a vette or viper.

yea i would have to agree with aj , lightnings are nasty and i would take a lightning or a cobra over a ram srt or a viper and day. dodges are just too expensive compared to ford. you can do bolt ons on both the lightning and cobra and be around the same horsepower as the ram and viper and you pay a hell of alot less
