Default Car Show and Meet PICS UP 5/4/2008

The goal is 50-100 cars, so tell everyone you know!!
I'll be working on getting a few more give away prizes by the time the meet comes up. Location is the Garden of the Gods Vistor Center North parking lot.

Here's the agenda:

· 12:00pm Cars show up who want to enter a contest for best ride
· 1:00pm Meet starts, cars are judged on appearance and individuality
· 2:00pm Convoy around Garden of the gods for pictures and scenary
· 3:00pm Meet for dinner at Chipotle or the Hub (undecided)
· 4:00pm I will announce the winners of the drawings and car show.
· 4:30pm Go home J

At no time will burnouts, racing, fluid spills(JFAB ), etc.. be tolerated. I will be onsight the entire time ensuring property damage will not occur (1st to show, last to leave).

Oh and give me an idea of who wants Chipotle (free chips, drinks, and salsa) or the Hub diner (15% for everyone)

Grand prize will be a baseline Dyno by Revolutions Performance!

It was going to be at my work, but the building owner found out and thought it would be too much of a liabilty...............d-bag........

I'm going to be working on finding another spot this week somewhere in Northern Colorado Springs. I figured this will give people enough time to plan for a Sunday drive to the springs . More than likely will be at chipotle or the Hub

Again, this meet is still on, make sure you come!! 40+ cars are showing....

Free food, free dynos, free service, showing your car off..... what more can you ask for?

And it looks like there will be some type of "dirty" class for the "not so cool rides" there. Get your minds out of the gutter- this means throw some dirt/mud on your car and come out!

Great! Depending on which idiot weatherman you hear, it seems to be only isolated showers on Sunday late afternoon. So hopefully it won't be isolated at the show .

Thanks to everyone that showed up. It was a great turnout! Any advice for the next meet would be great too. Should be holding one once a month with different prizes each time. There was soooo many NICE cars there, by the time I was done picking my finalist, I had like 20 cards in my hand... So I ended up having to nit pick for cleanliness and who would benefit from the Dyno's the most, sorry. 1st place was to the 68 Camaro with a 427(got the rockies tickets too) and 2nd place was to the black Toyota Supra.

But for the future I'll be looking for a recent wax job and not a drive through car wash job to make it fair for everyone including the stock guys. And on to what you really care about.... :-(

I would like to see the next meet in castle rock, so it is more doable for the denver folks. There were quite a few of us there. Maybe rotate springs, castle, springs, castle. etc.

Just a thought. I would like to attend most of them and can't if they are all down there. Not to mention my wash job would look like crap after driving an hour.

Thanks again for setting it up. Had a great time

I have considered moving the meets, since I now how much of a pain the drive is... The good news is that I will be at the shootout in June, and I'm going to use that as my "north" meet. I'm planning for another meet at the end of June if I can get it together by then.

I'm having a slight issue with finding a business that will let me use their parking lots too... And the S2k was on the finals list
