I certainly hope nobody's vehicles got hammered from that hail storm the other day in Austin but from what I have seen on my GTO forum, there was some major damage that happened down there. As a fellow car enthusiast, I can tell you that I would be devastated if my car got smashed so if any of you need some help I can try to assist.

My best friend of about 30 years lives in Austin (Lago Vista) and runs a paintless dent repair busines. He's a motorhead/car enthusiast too and knows that when your pride and joy gets hailed on, it's hard to look at. He said that if anyone needs their car repaired, to call him and he'd try to hook something up for you and at the very least get it back to perfect condition for you. He is pretty much a magician when it comes to PDR and you will be amazed at what he and his crew can correct. They are real pros when it comes to their craft and I highly recommend their work.

He said his shop is at FM 1431 & Trail's End if that helps (I'm not from Austin so I have no idea where that is, lol). They've got 10 PDR techs that can bang it out in no time! Give him a call and tell him that Larry referred you from Ricekiller.com. If it goes to voicemail, leave a message cuz his phone is ringing off the hook. If anyone needs help, here's his info -

Same with my shop in Giddings, if you can't drive out to Giddings, I can pick the vehicle up and bring it to the shop. Sadly, from watching the news clips of the hail damage, most of the baseball size hail that struck cannot be fixed right with just PDR. Were also a pro shop for Allstate and a few other insurance companies. See sig for info. We also do glass repair as well.

Yeah, the damage looks really bad as far as being fixable. My buddy said some of it is pretty bad but there is a lot that's fixable still. There's gonna be a bunch of totalled cars before it's all over though. What a drag, I would be destroyed if my car was beat to hell like some of them were.

Yeah, I know some of the Car dealerships on 183 are estimating in the millions of dollars in damage, Covert Cadillac, Saturn, BMW, Audi and others got beat quite badly.

One of my co-workers had his brand new jeep get hammered on by some good baseball sized. Luckily he has full coverage and the whole shabang.
