ssj0123 11-29-2007, 01:35 AM hey guys.. looking for a little more power out of my 360. cash is a little tight so i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some bolts ons. better throttle response would be nice and anything that would add some hp. it has 135k on it so the motor isnt as strong as it was back in the day so i need to bring it back to life. any help is apprecitated. thanks!

lol in what decade???
on a 360 with 130+ miles = new block
i have 140k+ on my motor..... all i have done is cam.... and i beat the hell out of it
Drama Llama 11-30-2007, 12:01 AM on a 360 with 130+ miles = new block
Hm, that's odd. I know of many 150k+ chevy's running 150 shots on otherwise stock motors....
DAMN son, must be a mopar thing. ;)
TxStVanWilder 11-30-2007, 12:04 AM im still waiting on him to post up what he has.... lets not fill up this thread with crap till we know what he needs help with
there are plenty of cra.... i mean dodge/mopar/jeep engines out there and it would be hard to just guess
00DakotaR/T 11-30-2007, 12:06 AM the magnum motors are good motors, running nitrous on the stock beer barrel intake, lol a 75 shot will blow that thing right off, the m1 intake like i have can take up to a 300 shot, but still nitrous on that thing with 135k miles, is pushing it.
00DakotaR/T 11-30-2007, 12:09 AM on his motor you need intake, tb, colder plugs, and luck that you dont blow it
if the motor he has now doesnt smoke or show sigh of 135k then i say go for it,
TxStVanWilder 11-30-2007, 12:11 AM what does this person have??

BACK ON TOPIC, FAGS. ;)
ssj0123 11-30-2007, 01:40 AM its in my dodge ram sst
ssj0123 11-30-2007, 01:44 AM it doesnt smoke and runs like a champ just want it to be faster ha. burns a little oil when i beat on it but like i said no smoke and i have no problems with it *knock on wood*
00DakotaR/T 11-30-2007, 09:57 AM if your burning oil its you rings, first buy a m1 intake
krcperformance.com
ssj0123 11-30-2007, 10:42 AM yea i know the oil is my rings just havent gotten around to it yet cause its not that bad right now..
00DakotaR/T 11-30-2007, 11:31 AM if you do nitrous, with the stock intake i would do a 50, intill you get a m1,
TxStVanWilder 11-30-2007, 11:55 AM what year?
what motor?
00DakotaR/T 11-30-2007, 12:29 PM motor is the same as mine
its a 97-3003 ram
TxStVanWilder 11-30-2007, 12:31 PM wow 3003?!?!!?
lol jk
00DakotaR/T 11-30-2007, 12:34 PM yep 3003
ssj0123 11-30-2007, 09:44 PM i dont plan on running nitrous i dont race it enough its mainly my daily driver that will see the track probably once in a while.. i checked out that intake going to need to save up extra cash if i pick that up..
ssj0123 11-30-2007, 09:47 PM i was considering put one of those krc 206 cams in it... anyone have any experience with them?
88_ZX 12-01-2007, 08:19 PM http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_756265_-1_10605
Start with that. No point in trying to force more air in if you cant get it out.
Next Id do the intake mani.....then an actual intake set....then a cam.
Its vital to make sure you can get out what you are putting in.
Of course you can go get a Hypertech. My dad had that on his 01 Ram w/ the 5.2. Big differance. Is it mtx or atx? (manual or auto?)
TheWhiteSkittle 12-01-2007, 08:24 PM i knew that was coming,, just wait alan youll see the day you will see my tail lights, it going to be my new years resilution
which new year are you talkin about? lol:lmao:
00DakotaR/T 12-02-2007, 12:02 AM which new year are you talkin about? lol:lmao:

true headers exhaust the intake
if you do a cam, you will spin about a grand, and to get better flow to the cam you you spin anothe 2 grand on heads, so about 3k for about a 100 horses,
the stock springs on our heads are shit
and hypetech is shit to 5.9 engines, you can spind 399 on a hypertech or you can 299 on a new mopar pcm, which will do alot more for you, shift points, timing, rev limiter, ect
TxStVanWilder 12-02-2007, 12:27 PM exhaust (whether it be cat-back or full exhaust), an air intake, then if you want i guess drop $ on an intake mani, do you have electric fans?
you can do cam, but like victor said its roughly a grand with a cam, springs, pushrods and reatiners..... and install too
but for a daily at first i would stick with basic bolt ons for now... exhaust, intake, fans, under drive pullies (do they make them for your truck??) just things of that nature....
and i agree dont go with hypertech, there are plenty of people on here who tune or know someone who can tune your dodge
00DakotaR/T 12-02-2007, 12:47 PM true,
when you get into the stuff i have mopar cant fix the problems, there is only 3 ways on computers, a flash, stand alone or just a good ol sct tune
as soon as i get my cam, i have to go with sct tune, might be 700 for a tune but by the time im done i should be makeing around 400 hp
yea e-fans are good, you can make your own or buy one from a ls1 camaro or trans am they work good, full under drive pullies work good to
88_ZX 12-02-2007, 12:53 PM a new mopar pcm
I wasnt aware that Mopar had a performance pcm for those.
TxStVanWilder 12-02-2007, 01:09 PM mopar is dead
TxStVanWilder 12-02-2007, 02:06 PM then once you do all that stuff..... go buy a chevy and youll be ahead of the game
88_ZX 12-02-2007, 03:31 PM damn you talk a lot of shit
TxStVanWilder 12-02-2007, 03:37 PM its a slow day at work
88_ZX 12-02-2007, 03:54 PM its a slow day at work

is it a 46re or a 5re tranny
ssj0123 12-03-2007, 12:52 PM no idea..
00DakotaR/T 12-03-2007, 05:03 PM look on the door seal, or the glove compartment
Smokinram2001 12-03-2007, 09:40 PM is it a 46re or a 5re tranny
Dodge full size trucks came with the 47rh until 2000 then went to a 47re.Dakota came with the 45 or the 46 depends on year of the truck.
