I'm confused...my car's made by GM but it only has a V6!!! AND A TURBO!! WTF!! I live in a hick town and deal with this crap all of the time... These cowpokes think their trucks are fast because they haven't had or seized the opportunity to ride in a fast car and think their "powerful" trucks that work so well at towing a trailer can put that power to use in propelling the truck faster than a car with similar hp and a lot less weight. You've seen the way they spell; now only imagine their math and physics skills.

My bud, Capn' Smokey, which isn't one of the retarded hicks, used to think his truck was quick, then he realized my stock altima could beat him (it was sometimes close between us, but I can take a 04 stock mustang gt). He eventually made it fast after a head swap, beating a sti in a drag and I forget what else. But he realized there was less potential in trucks. He put the same motor in a 3rd gen camaro and beat the new Shelby GT500

To summarize my point: Trucks are generally slower than the cars they try to race. While possibly having 300+ hp & trq, they weigh a lot more than the cars they try to race which have better power/weight ratios. :thumbsdown:

ill respect imports on the day you can a 4cyl and put 3,000 in it and run 12's all motor and no boost and no baby bottle(N.O.S). me and my uncle can take 3,000 and make any car( we did to his 79 z28 he has) and it ran 12.80's - 13.00 flat all night, and yes it was 1/4 mile. got all the parts from jegs, mainly used elderbrock performer series parts like intake manifold, cam, and heads, we also had it bored. the old 350's are cheap as hell to biuld up. dont talk shit about trucks, yeah my ram may only have a 318 in it, i have it slightly modified and beat the shit out of little civics and accords with there gay spoilers and exhaust. go screw yourself ricers since you cant be like paul walker.
